This month marks 25 years since September 11th. "Trinity" is named for Trinity Church and its St. Paul's Chapel, which stood open to those of us working at the World Trade Center site. It was a place of quiet, rest, and prayer during the longest days of my life as a first responder. It's where letters and pictures, handwritten and drawn by people from all over the world, including many children writing from their classrooms reached us and reminded us how much good there is in people.
This month, we remember those we lost, honor those who served, and hold on to the unity we felt as a nation and a world. Never forget. As you sip this coffee, we hope you find a memory worth reflecting on and that it brings you warmth and strength.
The coffee itself comes from a group of small family farmers in San Miguel de Guerrero, high in the mountains of Oaxaca at 1,500 meters. Carefully washed and sun-dried, it's a sweet, balanced cup with notes of cherry juice, dragon fruit, caramel, and milk chocolate. It's bright, comforting, and easy to return to, morning after morning.
