Limited Batch: Spellbound
As the days grow shorter and the air begins to cool, there’s something magical about slowing down with a great cup of coffee. Spellbound captures the enchantment of October—cozy mornings, golden afternoons, and the quiet wonder of spooky season.
This light roast comes from the misty mountains of Costa Rica’s Dota region, where ten small farms in the micro-region of El Vapor cultivate coffee at more than 1,800 meters above sea level. Named for the plumes of water vapor that rise as warm air meets the cool mountain air, El Vapor feels like the perfect home for a coffee with a little mystery.
Carefully hand-sorted and naturally processed on raised drying beds, the coffee seeds are dried inside the whole coffee cherry, allowing them to absorb more of the fruit’s natural sweetness and develop vibrant, fruit-forward flavors.
This coffee showcases both the character of the fruit and the exceptional craftsmanship of CoopeDota, one of Costa Rica’s most respected coffee cooperatives. Their carbon-neutral mill and commitment to sustainable farming and community stewardship make every cup as thoughtful as it is delicious. Like the season itself, Spellbound invites you to slow down, embrace the changing days, and savor the simple magic found in every sip.
