Golden Bean Award Winners 2024 & 2025: Tradition Coffee Roasters Brings Home 8 Medals

We’re brewing up some big news

This year at the Golden Bean The Americas Coffee Roasting Competition, our team brought home 5 national awards — including 2 Silver and 3 Bronze medals across multiple categories, adding them to last year's 3 bronze winners!

One standout coffee even took home two awards, earning recognition for both its roast quality and flavor profile is an Elite Lot that we just released (read more below).

We’re incredibly proud of our roasting team, who pour their passion into every batch — and even more excited to share two limited batch award-winning coffees that took home medals this year. Stay tuned for release dates, and get ready to taste what the judges loved.

Thank you for being part of this journey — your support keeps our roasters inspired and our coffee exceptional. Read more about the winners below, and click to order!

2025 Award Winners

Elite Lot: El Vergel

We’re proud to introduce El Vergel, a double award winner at the Golden Bean The Americas, one of the most respected coffee competitions.

Honored with two category wins with both a Silver Medal and Bronze Medal, El Vergel represents the heart of our roasting craft — precision, balance, and depth in every cup.

Sourced from El Vergel Estate in Tolima, Colombia, and grown by Martha Montenegro & Elias/Shady Bayter, this Bourbon Sidra varietal is processed using a Natural 72-hour Mosto Anaerobic method, creating a cup that’s vibrant, candy-sweet, and bursting with tropical fruit and raspberry notes.

This is a highly limited release, roasted in small batches and available only while supplies last.
