Meet the Bean
Huila is Colombia’s largest coffee producing region. Most of Huila is made up of many small producers who manage their own farms and then come together after harvest for processing, milling and exporting. This kind of cooperation creates the high quality coffee they are known for, which they are able to sustain in high quantities. The diverse range of climates in the region lends itself to a wonderful variety of potential flavors in the coffees they produce.
The Inside Scoop
Colombian coffees are always fun to roast because the diversity in flavors is highlighted during the process. You will find this cup has a medium body, with bright acidity to excite your palate. Tasting notes from our cupping team were a mix of orangecicle, creamy cashew and graham cracker. This coffee will enhance your mood to keep you energized for a productive day, like a power nap in a cup!
